Fagan from Dickens "Oliver Twist"
Last weekend was the annual "Dickens on Main" celebration. Every year, Franklin Tennessee shuts down a main area of their downtown and creates an atmosphere that transports you back to the 1800's. There are people everywhere in costume ready to fill you in on how they play into a Dickens story.
Live musicians of every sort played in churches, and on the street, perfuming the air with beautiful melodies. The day started our a bit rainy but cleared up quickly. Thankfully, we were outside under an awning, so we stayed dry!
